The two tallest are supplied as spliced stiles, so a 3048 mm ladder still ships inside a manageable crate. Punched black metal treads clear dust and debris instead of holding it, so grip does not degrade in a workshop or store room. Steel tie rods sit behind alternate treads and hold the stiles parallel, which is what keeps the frame from racking under a moving load. 2200, 2438, 2743 and 3048 mm from one tread pitch, so a project can mix heights without mixing appearance.
