Description
The AA200155 series is a wooden rolling ladder supplied with a 2000 mm spliced aluminium track. Twin roller hangers at the head let the ladder run the length of the rail and lift off when the room needs clearing, while castors at the foot keep the base moving with it. Four heights share the same track and hardware, so a project can order different heights for different rooms and still hold one visual standard across the building. A two metre spliced aluminium track covers a full shelving run, and sections join end to end where a longer rail is needed. Two rollers per stile spread the load on the rail and keep the ladder square as it travels, instead of letting it wander under a side load. 2200, 2438, 2743 and 3048 mm on the same hardware, so mixed-height projects stay visually consistent. The track ships in sections rather than a single two metre bar, which lowers the freight class and the risk of a bent rail in transit. Each stile head carries a black plate with two rollers. Two contact points per side stop the ladder tipping in the rail when weight moves to one edge of a tread. Slots cut through the stile lighten the ladder and give a hand hold when it is being lifted off the rail. Treads are through-bolted rather than nailed. Reaches the top shelf of a full-height run and rolls aside so the whole wall stays accessible. Gives a fixed climb to a raised floor or storage deck without the floor area a staircase would take. Used where stock sits above head height and the ladder is on show as part of the fit-out. 2000 mm as standard, shipped as spliced sections that join end to end. For a longer shelving run, tell us the total length and we will quote the additional track. The code follows the height: AA20015501 is 2200 mm, 02 is 2438 mm, 03 is 2743 mm and 04 is 3048 mm. All four use the same 2000 mm track and hardware. A single roller lets the ladder rock in the rail when a climber shifts weight sideways. Twin rollers hold the stile square and spread the load along the track. Yes. The hangers sit on the rail rather than being captive in it, so the ladder can be removed when the room is being cleared or redecorated. Either. Tell us the substrate and the fixing height and the bracket arrangement is confirmed on the drawing before production. Tell us the floor finish when you order. Castor type is selected against the floor it will run on, which is not something to leave until the ladder arrives. Send the floor-to-rail height, the shelving run you need to cover, the finish and the quantity. We will return a production drawing and a lead time for your project.Rolling Library Ladder on 2000mm Spliced Track
